Mindful Painting

This intro level class draws ideas from the Tibetan sand paintings and Indian rangoli color designs to European color field paintings.  We will explore color as emotions and lines as intentional paths and patterns on the canvas.  Your individualized painting will reflect your own self-created painting to take home.

$15 cash fee paid to instructor for supplies on the first night.

Beginner Stain Glass

This beginning course will teach you the basic steps of cutting, grinding, foiling and soldering your own stained glass project.  You can make a heart or a maple leaf to bring home.  No experience necessary.

$12 cash fee paid to instructor for supplies on the first night of class.

Digital Photography I

In this class, we'll discuss the basics of lighting and composition to caputure your loved ones at their best.  In the first session, we will go over basic camera functions and photographic principals for taking amazing images.  In the second session, we will review your images and discuss ways to improve them.  Document your family as they grow from birthdays, to vacations and more.

Bring any digital camera, from a smartphone to a DSLR.

Mosaics Class

This beginner Mosaics class will introduce you to the techniques of glass mosaics.  You will learn how to cut glass using mosaic wheel cutters, adhering glass and grouting finished products.  No experience necessary.  

$5 cash fee paid to instuctor for supplies on the first night.

Digital Photography II

This class will take us around the campus to learn how to find the best natural light and use simple modifiers to enhance it.  You will learn the basics of posing people to bring out their best qualities and show loving relationships.  Learn how to edit your images with free tools available to everyone and ways to display them as artwork in your home.  (Part I is not a requirement if you are familiar with your camera's functions.)

Moravian Star

Students will learn the basic techniques for cutting glass and assembling this intricate star ornament.  3D hanging stars make great gifts all year round.  No experience needed.

Calling all crafters!  Do you sell products on Etsy or promote them on Instagram?  If so, you know the importance of beautiful images to attract customers to your wares.  In this class, you will learn to use lighting, composition, and props to create images that pop.  From the classic flat lays to lifestyle shots, this workshop will get your creative juices flowing.  This is a hands-on class, so please bring any camera or smartphone and some items you want to showcase.
